Artificial Intelligence and Games
Games have proven to be an ideal (and fun) testbed for the study of artificial intelligence (AI). They are interesting to observe and provide dynamic and competetive environments that feature many of the characteristics of real-world problems. In this seminar, the students will focus on a variety successful and practical applications of AI methods in the domain of games. Since the participants will have to deal with contemporary scientific literature, the default language of the seminar is English, but talks and reports can also be prepared in German on request. Please register online for this course. This seminar accompanies my lecture on "Intelligent Agents" for which no registration is necessary. Both courses take place on Mondays, starting on October, 13th, 2014.
