On the evening of July 6, 2024, Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences (FRA-UAS) was targeted by a hacker attack. Despite security measures, criminals gained access to parts of the IT infrastructure. As a security measure, external access and some services were shut down. The extent of the attack is still unknown, and it is uncertain when systems will be fully restored. On-campus operations, including lectures, continue. Elevators are not in use for security reasons. Online registrations are currently unavailable. The university is unreachable by e-mail and phone externally.
